In India the first Railway train was run in 1853 from Mumbai to Thane. Mumbai and Thane belongs in western coastal district of Maharashtra. Now Indian Railway took a great development in technology. What is PNR? 

PNR full form is Passenger Name Record and it come's in Indian Railway Reservation System, the one thing you can see that it has a unique ten digit number that is printed on your railway ticket. The impotent thing is that this number is generated by (CRS) Computer Reservation System and this unique number is like an indexing number which shows the detail of the passenger's and their sitting arrangement. This detail also has an information about the passenger sitting status which get updated as  per an every cancellation of ticket.

Where to find PNR number on ticket:
 


This number is printed at the top left side corner of the ticket. It has 10 digit number
